Yes, I know, we are a bit crazy. I’ve had many people tell me I’m crazy for attempting to go camping with a toddler. But I think we are going to love it.
We are going to a Tourist Park with toilet blocks, BBQ, kitchens and washing machines and we have a powered site. So we’re not exactly roughing it! Perhaps we will in the future but for our first trip (both with Lily and as a couple) we thought we’d make it a bit easier on ourselves. The park is not far from shops so we won’t need to take the entire weeks worth of food or worry too much about storing it.
This list is still ongoing, I keep adding things as I think of them, but it is pretty comprehensive. Of course, your needs may be different depending on the age of your toddler/children and their needs but I think it’s a good starting point.
Thank you must also go to the lovely people on The Organised Housewife’s Facebook page who answered my question about the essentials for camping with a toddler. Also to my followers on Twitter who gave me some fantastic tips as well!!
