Heading down to my parents’ house after Lily finishes school on Friday for a break (aka dump the girls on Granny & Poppy so I can work on my assignment!). It’s also my niece’s birthday on Monday so it will be nice to spend some time with her.
Experimenting with the slow cooker curried sausages recipe this week. I will be using my recipe but instead of using the premade curry blocks I will be attempting to use my own roux from this recipe. I’ll also be attempting to make up a larger batch and freeze it to see how that works. If it all works out ok I’ll be updating my recipe.
I’m intrigued to try the butter chicken. I’ve had butter chicken only once or twice before, but have never cooked it myself. This recipe is from either the newest Recipes+ magazine or the newest Good Food Ideas magazine (I’m not at home so can’t double check). I’m hoping it will be mild enough for Lily to like too.
