Last Thursday I got the amazing opportunity to spend the afternoon cooking with celebrity chef Ben O’Donoghue in a private house overlooking Sydney harbour, thanks to Fairy Dishwashing Liquid. This blog has brought me a lot of positive things and the opportunities I get are definitely one of the best! We chatted and then Ben showed me how to make a delicious Prawn and Zucchini Linguine and the guys from Fairy showed me how easy it was to clean it all up. I was sent a cool little esky full of products from McCormick to celebrate BBQ season. We tried the Bush Lamb Grill Mates Seasoning on some lamb cutlets last night and they were delicious. We also have the new Spicy Steak Marinade-in-Bag to try and will be doing so later this week. Keep an eye out for these on the blog later too!
You may have noticed lately and over the coming weeks that, besides my meal plans, any posts tend to be sponsored or reviews. I’ve had some great opportunities all come in at once, as they tend to do, and haven’t wanted to pass on any of them. I also simply do not have enough time to write any other original content as well. Hopefully, things will settle down soon and I’ll get back into normal posting.
The rest of the recipes this week come from the September issue of Recipes+ that I picked up the other day. I am especially intriuged by the Kimono Bundles (they were in an ad in the magazine). Definitely something different to try!
