So you might have noticed that I’m rather behind in The Organised Housewife’s 20 Day Challenge. Last Thursday I woke up with terrible pelvic pain which left me unable to walk. I’m not sure exactly why – I think the baby had just moved right down, putting a lot of pressure on my pelvis and the ligaments that had already stretched. I wasn’t able to move from the couch but thankfully Mr Monkey was home and was able to take Lily out to run a few errands that we had planned to do. He took Friday off work as well so he was able to drive Lily to and from school for me and help me out a bit around the house. I was able to walk on Friday but not much. By Saturday I was feeling a little better so managed to do a few things like hanging the washing out and making lunch and dinner but by the evening I was in a lot of pain again. Sunday, I just had a lot of lower back pain so took it easy. Today I’m feeling better but still tender and a little afraid to do much in case I re-hurt it. I’m hoping I might be able to get a bit done tomorrow but will see how I go.
Luckily we have a quiet week this week – next week is the busy week with Lily’s birthday and party. The only things we have happening this week is the usual – swimming on Monday and school on Friday. Plus dinner at Grandma & Grandad’s on Sunday night.
I went through the latest edition of the Healthy Food Guide Magazine and my recipe board on Pinterest to find the recipes for this week. Plus my most clicked on post from last year – Curried Sausages. We had these tonight (just cooked on the stove top as we weren’t organised enough to put them in the slow cooker) and they were as good as they always are.
