She just feel asleep at dinner the other night! She didn’t have a nap that day and had been running around with her cousin so the poor thing was exhausted. She just laid her head down next to her bowl and fell asleep. We took the bowl away, put the cushion down and finished our dinner.

I’ve decided to try and have my meal plans up on Sundays now. I don’t like that I always have 2 posts on Monday and it makes more sense to have the meal plans on Sunday. Let me know what you think!
Another week of pantry/freezer meals. Money is a bit tight at the moment – May is a big month of birthdays and other events for us and then we also have rego due at the end of June. So we’re trying not to do grocery shopping (besides things like milk and bread) for a few weeks to get by.
Spaghetti with Garlic and Olive Oil sounds yummy, clean, semi-healthy and super easy so I thought we’d give it a go this week. Normal Monday for us – swimming and then probably a quick grocery trip. Hopefully I’ll get off my butt and go for a run too.
Fairly quiet week this week as well – at the moment we don’t really have many plans. I have my course on Wednesday (last week was great and I’m looking forward to it!) and Mum and Dad might be babysitting again. The lovely people from Lenard’s sent me a gift voucher to try one of their roast chickens so I thought it would be a good chance to give it a try with more people.
The other recipe I’m using this week is the Twice Baked Goat’s Cheese Potatoes in the Crock Pot from A Beach Cottage. I came across this recipe a few days ago as I was trying to clear out my Google Feed Reader (over 1,000 posts to read!!) and it just sounded so, so yummy. I haven’t had much luck with roast potatoes and our crappy oven so these seemed like a great solution. We have potatoes, I’ll probably just use our normal cheddar instead of the goat’s cheese and may just have to pick up some light cream.
So a fairly simple meal plan this week. What are you having?
