Things are a little up in the air for this week – it all depends on Mr Monkey’s roster which is currently rejigging as I’m typing this. He was originally going to have Saturday off so we were going to go into Vivid in the city, but now it looks like he might have Tuesday off so we’ll go then. Whichever day he has off it will be his only day this week. He worked over 70 hours over the last week and that was with two days off. I’d hate to think how many hours he’s going to do this week. His work has been crazy busy due to Vivid and he still doesn’t have a Sous Chef so he’s taking on all of the responsibilities. He had issues with staff on the two days off last week which made it even more difficult. Even on those days off he still had to go into work for a few hours!
Lily is spending tomorrow night at her grandparents’ house for a sleepover and I’ll be doing the groceries and hopefully getting a bit back on track with the housework.
Friday is my sister’s birthday so we’ll be heading down there for dinner. We were supposed to be coming back early on Saturday but now that Mr Monkey may not be working we may stay an extra night. I’ll move the soup to next week if that’s the case.
Otherwise the week is pretty much as normal.
Ugh, just got a message from Mr Monkey to say that his roster might even be more different! Looks like there will be a lot of moving around with this meal plan!
