A few slow cooker meals on the plan this week. It’s the start of winter here in Sydney and the weather certainly got the message – it’s been rainy and miserable and cold for the last few days. Perfect weather for warm, hearty slow cooker meals.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day – we have swimming in the morning and then heading to Ikea to buy Lily’s new big girl bed as it’s currently on sale until Tuesday. Back home to set that up and also start cleaning the house as we have a house inspection on Tuesday afternoon. Then out to Grandma & Grandad’s house for dinner.
So, Tuesday will be spent finishing the tidying before the inspection. We’ve got the pasta dish that night that I was supposed to cook last week, but we had a bit of a rough evening and ended up with toast for dinner. But it’s quick and easy which is good as the inspection is at 4pm.
Friday night we are going to see Jesus Christ Superstar with my sister and Mum and Dad are babysitting Lily and Chloe. Yes, first couple of hours away from Chloe! I’ll have to express beforehand but Chloe actually hasn’t taken a bottle yet so I’m hoping she doesn’t muck up too much for my parents.
Saturday my parents and my brother and sister are heading off to the Hunter Valley for a wedding so we’ll be looking after my niece for the weekend. So, I’ll be a “Mum of 3″ for a few days! It should be interesting as the girls tend to scream and fight for at least the first day they are together. Of course, I’ll be home alone with them on Saturday so I think I will be planning a lot of activities to keep them busy and distracted!
