On the left you can see what is happening for us this week. Fairly quiet week overall. I’m not sure when Mr Monkey will be home as it is still a little uncertain when his Sous Chef will be returning. So I’ve put the meal plan together assuming he is working his old roster of having Monday and Sunday off. I cook enough to have leftovers for him when he gets home from work so it shouldn’t make too much of a difference if he’s off on different days/nights.
Last Sunday we had Quesadillas; Mr Monkey was supposed to be home but had to work so I decided there should be enough to make them again on Monday night.
Tuesday night I will try a new recipe for Country Chicken & Corn Pies. The recipe makes 8 individual pies but I will probably try to make one or two large ones.
Wednesday night will be the good old faithful, quiche. Thursday will be a simple meal of Sausages, Mashed Potato and vegetables as we have Mums Group until late.
Saturday I will be trying a new Satay Chicken Stir Fry recipe and Sunday is Fathers Day. We don’t have plans organised as yet but will most likely be doing something for dinner.
