To the left you can see what this week looks like for our house. Fairly quiet start to the week. Mr Monkey is off on Monday and we would normally have Lily’s swimming lesson but I don’t think she will be going this week as she is still not very well. I didn’t make the chicken satay stir fry last Saturday like I had planned so have moved it to Monday night.
Tuesday will be a fairly quiet day with just the groceries to be done and curried sausages for dinner. Wednesday will also be a quiet day (I’m hoping to get lots of housework done!) and I’ve planned homemade fish & chips.
Thursday we should have Mums Group so I’ve planned an easy meal – risotto, one of Lily’s favourites. Friday I thought I’d try a new recipe – Creamy Penne with Spinach which I’ll add some chicken to. Saturday I have a hair appointment which I am super duper excited about as it’s been over a year since I’ve had my hair cut or dyed. Saturday night I plan to do something a little fun and make homemade pizzas. I will probably just get either the pre-made pizza bases or use pita bread and we’ll just chuck on whatever we can find in the house.
Sunday morning we’ll be flying to Brisbane to attend a relative’s wedding. My parents are coming up to and are going to babysit Lily for us in the hotel as kids aren’t invited. We’re so lucky to have such awesome parents. We’re flying back Monday afternoon and my parents are driving to visit my Nana on the Gold Coast. Poor Mr Monkey has to go back to work on Tuesday but it should be a good couple of days.
