Today we had Lily’s swimming lesson then headed over to the new Ikea store for a few hours. Once I’ve finished this post I’m heading upstairs to wash all of the dishes and cook a simple Chicken & Avocado pasta dish.
Tuesday will be a quiet day at home. We bought some paints from Ikea yesterday so I’m hoping to give Lily a go with those. We also need to do the groceries and I’ll pick up a packet of gnocchi and one of the sauces. I know it’s cheating but they’re super yummy!
Wednesday my sister and niece will be coming up to stay the night so if the weather is nice we will probably head to the library and park. I’ve planned a simple meal of sausages, mash and veggies for that night.
Thursday my parents will be coming to pick my sister up but hopefully, if the weather is nice, we will be able to go to the Magic Yellow Bus in the morning. Good old Spag Bol for dinner Thursday night.
Friday Mr Monkey should have the evening off and I’ve planned to do Quesadillas – a little more interesting and fun.
Saturday we have an extended family member’s birthday party to go to so no meal planned. Sunday Mr Monkey, Mr Monkey’s father and 2 brothers and my father and brother will be going on a deep sea fishing trip – it was the Father’s Day present for all of the fathers. Us girls are most likely going shopping I’ve just put in takeaway for that night because I’m not sure what the plan is.

Tuesday – Gnocchi and Sauce
Wednesday – Sausages, Mash & Veggies
Thursday – Spag Bol
Friday – Quesadillas
Saturday – N/A
Sunday – Takeaway
