REVIEW - BRAUER BABY BATH & BODY WASH - The Flying Drunken Monkey

This post is sponsored by Brauer

Recently I was invited to the Kids Business Bloggers Brunch, where Brauer were one of the exhibitors. I had seen Brauer products in the supermarket but haven’t tried them before.

The product they were giving to all participants was the Baby Sleepytime Bath Wash but unfortunately I have a strange reaction to lavender. No idea why but if I come into contact with it I get irrationally cranky. Not ideal when you’re trying to get a baby to relax!

So, instead the Brauer team gave me a bottle of the Baby Bath & Body Wash to try. Luckily, Lily has really good skin and at the time we didn’t have any issues with Chloe’s (and still no issues so far). However, my niece, Olivia, has bad eczema so I gave the bottle to my sister to try.

Here’s what she thought:

I was extremely happy with the results. With a daughter who has had skin issues since she was born, I find it hard to use many bath washes or lotions. However, this one was great. It smells nice, it is smooth on the skin and my daughter had no complications.

Can’t get much better than that can you?! Plus, each bottle comes with a cute little rubber duckie. Everything is better with a rubber duckie!

Paw Paw Ointment

Another product that I was given at the Brunch was the Paw Paw Ointment Tube. I’ve used paw paw products before and loved them but was a bit worried about them including petrochemicals. Thankfully, Brauer’s doesn’t include any petrochemicals, has fresh paw paw and honey, shea butter, vitamin E & grapeseed oil. All good!

Lily had some bad wind burn around her mouth as she had been licking her lips. I put a bit of the Paw Paw Ointment on it a few times and it cleared up within days! Unfortunately, Lily liked the taste of it so kept licking it but it obviously worked anyway.

I keep the tube in my bag and it has come in handy for dry lips, little burns and even a bit of nappy rash. I love a good versatile product!

Have you used Brauer products? What do you think?
