Last Saturday I was invited by Hausmann Communications and SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium to attend a special event for the opening of the Seahorse Safari. Lily was very excited to go after receiving a soft toy seahorse with the invitation and I decided to bring my Dad along as Mr Monkey was working. I took lots of photos on Instagram and my Dad took a few with his camera so I decided to share our day with photos. Be warned, there’s a few!
It was a really great morning and I highly recommend it. Even if you have been to the aquarium in the past few years (as we have) you will probably notice that a lot has changed, especially with the new Seahorse Safari. There’s still the great Dugong Island with the beautiful and graceful dugongs and so many wonderful types of sea animals in the exhibits.
As part of the Seahorse Safari each child gets a safari hat and a “passport” – there are stamping stations around the aquarium where you have to complete activities before stamping the passport. There’s a special surprise in the gift shop for anyone that gets all of the stamps!
To celebrate the opening of the Seahorse Safari, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium have given me a family pass to giveaway to one of you! That’s entry for 2 adults and 2 children, worth $120! Simply fill out the form below, making sure to answer the question and I’ll get Mr Monkey to pick a winner.
