They also included some great recipes to try out the products and I’m sharing them with you!

Today I’m sharing a recipe using the Bush Lamb Grill Mate. I’ll be sharing the other recipe soon.

We don’t have lamb cutlets very often as I never feel they are very good value for how much meat you get on each cutlet. But as luck would have it, our butcher had cutlets on special when I went to buy the meat for this recipe! The meat is always so yummy so it was nice to have a treat.

One night the other week my parents came for dinner before driving to Queensland to visit my Nana. I bought a kilo of lamb cutlets, McCormick had provided us with a mango and ginger chutney and we had some potatoes to make some chips. Easy!

Mr Monkey rubbed the Grill Mate spices over the lamb cutlets with some oil and left them to marinate for a few hours. It would’ve been great to cook them on the BBQ but unfortunately the weather wasn’t playing along. Plus, the BBQ really needs a clean!

I made a salad, my Mum put together the mango mayo and Mr Monkey cut and seasoned some chips to put in the oven, then cooked the cutlets. Lily helped my Dad set the table and Chloe gurgled and looked cute.

The lamb cutlets were quickly pan fried and tasted delicious! They could’ve used a little more of the seasoning but it added a really nice flavour to the lamb. The mango chutney went down really well – Lily loved it and dipped all of her chips in it. My mum loved it as well and is going to try the recipe out on the rest of the family.

The best thing about the Grill Mates, besides the great flavour, is that they come in resealable bags. We didn’t use it all that night but were able to reseal the bag and have it again! It would also be great on lamb chops, koftas or I bet even on a roast.
