First of all, I’d like to say thanks to those readers that sent me emails or talked to me IRL about how I’m doing. I really, really appreciate the thought & care.
Last week started well. After recording last week’s post on the Saturday I managed to finish the dishes, empty the bins and was feeling a bit better about the house in general.
I got lots done on Tuesday – I’ve started a new daily to-do list. I’m still working on it but will post a template and more info if I find it’s working. I got at least half of my zone work done on Tuesday as well as a lot of washing and other general tidying and blog work. Unfortunately, it all came a bit crumbling down on Wednesday but I allowed myself to take a little break.
Went down to my parents’ house and came home on Saturday. Sunday was actually hugely productive, thanks a lot to Mr Monkey. He got up early (I didn’t get out of bed until 1pm) and got to work washing and hanging out the dirty washing. Once I got up we had some lunch, washed the dishes and swept and mopped the kitchen. We walked down to the supermarket and got some ingredients for dinner. Came home, folded all the clean washing, finished the dishes and vacuumed the top floor. It was a good day and I’m hoping it bodes well for the rest of the week.
