{This Week’s FlyZone} – The Computer Room

Looking at that picture above just makes me feel tired. There is so much to do! Thankfully, all of those bags will be going tomorrow. After clearing out my wardrobe last week I ended up with 5 garbage bags of clothes to give to my sister! My parents are picking me up tomorrow to go to Mr Monkey’s work for the Melbourne Cup and they are going to take the bags and a few other things for their house.

Mr Monkey put Lily’s clean clothes on top of the drawers while I was away and I haven’t put them away yet. I also have to sort through her clothes as she seems to have outgrown most of her size 1 clothes. How did that happen?!?! How is my little baby in a size 2 already????

I desperately need to vacuum and will probably do that as soon as the bags are gone. The top of the bookshelves also needs to be tidied as it’s become a mess again. Stupid dumping spot.

So, anyway, here’s what I’m going to do this week:

Computer Room;

  • ~ Dust
  • ~ Tidy computer desk
  • ~ Filing
  • ~ Tidy off top of drawers
  • ~ Vacuum
  • ~ Sort out Lily’s clothes



So there you have it, my plan for the week. I’ll let you know how I go at the end of the month.

    I have a week off, so there’s a lot that I should do. But thinking of it makes me tired too. My husband is still home and we have very different ways and opinions on cleaning. He’s precise, methodic and it all has to be done at once. I prefer dividing up tasks and do something extra that hasn’t been done yet. I hope he won’t start cleaning today (we go out this afternoon, so it would be in a rush anyway), then I can have my ways tomorrow, at my own pace.
    True, your computer room looks messy but it also looks easily fixed (for the eye). I would make that top of drawers a priority, I think. But then again, I’ve always hated vacuuming…

      Isn’t it funny how easily it becomes overwhelming? It’s normally best to try and break it up in to smaller sections, but that doesn’t always work for me.

      It is hard when you and your husband have different ideas about cleaning. Mr Monkey and I are normally pretty good when we get in and clean together but he tends to be a bit more oblivious when I’m not around.

      Yeah, I’m going to start with the top of the drawers. I like to leave the vacuuming until the rest of the room is done so the floor is completely clean.
