I have one priority this week: to get rid of the mould in the bedroom. You can see it in the photo above. It covers the wall above our bed and it’s getting worse and worse. That area of the room doesn’t get a heap of sunlight and as there is only a small window above the balcony doors the room doesn’t have a lot of air circulating through it, especially as we didn’t have the window open over winter. I think it might be contributing to the amount of colds we’ve had this winter and it has to go! I stopped in at the chemist the other day and picked up some Clove Oil. One evening when Mr Monkey is home I’m going to attack it with a mix of vinegar and bicarb to clean it and then the Clove Oil mixed with water. I need Mr Monkey to be home to keep Lily away and also possibly give me a hand.

Otherwise, it will be just a general tidy as normal. There is plenty of toys and books on the floor that Lily has brought in and I need to move my bedside table out and clear out the things that have fallen behind it.

So, anyway, here’s what I’m going to do this week:

Bedroom:

  • ~ Dust
  • ~ Clear beside tables
  • ~ Clean mirrors
  • ~ Clean balcony doors
  • ~ Tidy change table
  • ~ Clean wardrobe doors
  • ~ Tidy under bed
  • ~ Fold clothes
  • ~ Vacuum
  • ~ Clean walls
So there you have it, my plan for the week. I’ll let you know how I go at the end of the month.
What do you have planned for this week? Are you working in the Bedroom too?
