Meal Plan:

♥ Monday – Fish Stir Fry with Noodles
♥ Tuesday – Silverside, Mash, Veg & White Sauce
♥ Wednesday – Dinner with Amy
♥ Thursday – Chickpea Stew with Cous Cous
♥ Friday – Chicken Parmigiana with chips and salad
♥ Saturday – Herb & Pepper Pork with Potato, Apple & Bean Salad*

A few meals have been moved over from last week – I forgot that we were going down to my parents’ house for the weekend. So I moved the meals around last week to use what we had at home and we didn’t have to buy any meat.

Fairly quiet week again this week. In-law’s are on holiday so we won’t be going out to their house for dinner this week.

I’m determined to go for a run this week so I’ve told Mr Monkey I’m going Tuesday evening. I’ve scheduled in the silverside which will cook in the slow cooker during the day so all he has to do is make the mash & veggies and white sauce while I’m on my run. I’ve found evenings are the best times for me to go as it’s starting to cool down but I’ve been putting it off as I didn’t want to leave Mr Monkey to cook dinner with both girls by himself. But as my psychologist said… why not? I do it every night! Can’t hurt him to do it one night a week. Hopefully it works out and I can make Tuesday evenings my run evenings. Of course, I’d like to go more than once a week but I’ll take what I can at the moment.

Meeting up with the amazing Amy for dinner on Wednesday night. Just our usual Japanese at the local shopping centre. Will be so good to see her and chat and bitch and vent. Good times! :)

Psychologist appointment on Thursday afternoon. My second last one. She keeps trying to reassure me but I really don’t know how I’ll cope once we finish up. I really wish Medicare offered more rebates than just 10 sessions a year, or that we could afford more.

Looking forward to making Curried Sausages this weekend. It’s been awhile. I’m still experimenting with making my own curry powder for it but hopefully I’ll have it worked out and I can post a new recipe soon!
