Meal Plan:

♥ Monday – Chorizo Pasta
♥ Tuesday – Dinner at Grandma’s
♥ Wednesday -Quesadillas
♥ Thursday – Fish & Chips
♥ Friday – Dinner at Granny’s
♥ Saturday – Dinner at Granny’s
♥ Sunday – Chicken risotto

So, we’re back from Problogger and I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. I have a big list of ideas and to-dos that I jotted down during the sessions and I need to sit down and work out a plan. As I’m sure you are aware, time management isn’t a big skill of mine but it’s something I’m going to work on. I feel that if I’m more organised with how I blog, I’ll be able to manage my time better.

This should hopefully mean I’ll be more consistent. I always attempt to blog 2-4 times a week; normally a meal plan on Sunday, cleaning zone on Monday plus posts on Wednesdays and Fridays. But it’s not very often that I achieve this. So I’m working on ways to streamline my process and make it easier for me to achieve this.

Of course, this week is a little different. I started our meal plan last night (we got home at about 4pm) but I wanted to concentrate on getting our photos edited first. It was a big job (I ended up with 300 photos!) but I knew if I didn’t do it straight away I’d probably leave it for weeks. I’ll hopefully get some of those photos up here later this week.

Then we had swimming lessons this morning and grocery shopping to do, then I fell asleep on the couch, so I’ve only just got it finished now.

So anyway, this week. Tomorrow I’m going for a run. I’ve started a course through Operation Move (that’s an affiliate link). It’s the Run Far & Fast course which should hopefully get me running faster and… well further! I’m really excited for it, especially as it means I am now accountable and actually have to go for a run!

Then it’s out to the in-law’s for dinner, an early Fathers Day celebration.

Wednesday Mr Monkey goes back to work and we’ll be relaxing at home, probably doing some blog work or housework or study. One of those mountains of things I need to do! We had soft tacos while we were away and Lily used her tortilla to basically make a quesadilla. Plus both girls loved the beans in the mix so I thought we would try that again.

Thursday Lily is back to school and Chloe and I will be pottering around at home. Simple (frozen) fish and homemade chips for dinner. I’ll have to remember to pre-cook the chips a little as Lily will probably want to stay at school until late.

School again on Friday and they will be having a special afternoon tea for Fathers Day. Mr Monkey will be working but hopefully both Grandad and Poppy will be able to go along. We’ll then be heading down to my parents’ house for the weekend before coming back on Sunday, ready for swimming on Monday.
