Meal Plan:

♥ Monday – Chorizo Fried Rice
♥ Tuesday – Pork & Apple Meatballs with mashed potato
♥ Wednesday – Creamy Mushroom-Fontina Pasta
♥ Thursday – Baked Fish Sticks with aioli, oven baked chips & vegetables
♥ Friday – Sausage and Vegetable Quiche
♥ Saturday – Slow Cooker Honey Sesame Chicken with rice
♥ Sunday – Sweet Corn & Butter Bean Soup

Quiet week at home this week. Just the ordinary swimming on Monday, school on Friday, Mr Monkey’s normal shifts at work and a special blogging event on Sunday morning. I’m hoping the weather is nice later in the week as I’m sure we’re all going to be going a little stir-crazy from spending so much time at home. I think a trip to a playground will be very welcome by Thursday.

A few new meals this week but all should be fairly simple and easy to cook. Cooking last week with Chloe in the Hug-a-Bub went fairly well – the only thing I had issues with was using the oven; lighting it, then putting dishes in and getting them out. It’s just a matter of working out the best way to manoeuvre myself to get those things done.

I think have a weekly menu planner makes life so very easy! We have started to do one each weekend for the week ahead, and I like knowing what I am about to cook each night.
Its a matter of trying to find new recipes that we haven’t had before…we eat mostly vegetarian meals, with Chicken once a week and Fish.
We now longer have red meat unless we are out n about – if our boys want to eat it then they can, but I love eating mostly vegetarian meals ;)
