I’m feeling a little funny this week as I haven’t used any recipes off the Internet! How strange! I grabbed a few magazines and booklets I had earmarked and put aside.

I’m picking my Mum and Dad up from the airport super early on Tuesday after their big Thailand trip. I’m sure they are going to be tanned, relaxed, full of stories and with a memory card full of photos. And I won’t be jealous. At all. Nuh huh. Not at all. Sigh.

Sunday we are heading out to the in-laws’ house for a big celebration. They are looking at going on a trip sometime in May and will miss my father-in-law’s birthday, Mothers Day, my birthday, my brother-in-law’s and his wife’s birthday. So they decided to have everyone around on Sunday and celebrate all of them together. It’s a great idea seeing as May (or really just two weeks in May) are crazy busy with celebrations for our family – I also have my brother’s birthday in there. I’m not sure if a lunch or dinner has been planned but it is likely that we will stick around for dinner anyway.

Otherwise not much else exciting happening during the week. Hoping to catch up with housework and blog writing.

    Ergh!! I always drool over your meal plans. I really need to branch out more from the typical staple meals I stick too.

    Change is such a hard thing to get over!
