A bit of a quieter week this week. Monday we have Lily’s swimming lesson and then not much else planned. We were meant to have the Tunisian Lamb last week but I ended up going down to my parents’ house for a few days. I also didn’t really like the sound of the meal on the 1 Million Kilo Challenge meal plan for Monday. So we’re having the lamb tonight!
Tuesday will be grocery shopping day and we need to pick up a present for my mother-in-law. I’m liking the sound of the Spaghetti Marinara for dinner!
Wednesday and Thursday should just be spent around the house doing housework. There is a lot to do! I’m a bit apprehensive about the pumpkin salad on Wednesday – I really do not like pumpkin but have found lately that I can eat with other things where the taste and texture is mostly disguised. I’m hoping it’s the same case with this salad.
Friday we’re going out for dinner with Amy! It has been *ages* since we’ve been able to get together so I’m very excited and we are trying a gourmet burger bar that we haven’t been to before so I’m extra excited!
Saturday will probably be spent doing even more housework and a few more groceries.
Sunday we have lunch at my in-law’s house for Mr Monkey’s mother’s birthday. I have scheduled dinner for that night but I’m not sure what we will end up doing. We normally end up hanging around their house for awhile after family occasions.
