♥ Monday – Dinner at Grandma & Grandad’s
♥ Tuesday – Marinated Salmon with Beetroot Barley Salad
♥ Wednesday – Basic Grilled Steak with Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables + 1 boiled potato
♥ Thursday – Chicken Curry & Rice + 1 cup of broccoli
♥ Friday – Baked Snapper withLemon & Fresh Herbs with Moroccan Baked Vegetables with Couscous
♥ Saturday – Tunisian Lamb with Crunchy Potatoes + Basic Salad
♥ Sunday – June Burgers

Fairly quiet this week! Monday is a bit of a special day – we’ll have Lily’s swimming lesson in the morning as normal and then we’re heading over to my in-law’s house for the afternoon, staying for dinner and then staying the night. Mr Monkey has an appointment at the bank near their house on Tuesday so we didn’t want to have to drive home and then drive back over.

Tuesday will be errand day – the bank appointment in the morning and then grocery shopping. I’m hoping this weather will clear up and I’ll be able to go for a run in the evening. I’m too clumsy to go running when it’s wet. I love salmon so can’t wait for the Marinated Salmon with Beetroot Barley Salad. Yum!

Wednesday through to Sunday… well, it’s a quiet week at home this week. We’ll need to do grocery shopping on Friday for the rest of the week (I’m trying to buy smaller amounts more often so that we don’t waste food) and hopefully another run on Sunday. Miss Amy should be coming over for dinner and trashy TV one night this week. It will be so nice to have a girly night!!

So yes, fairly quiet week this week, hopefully I’ll get a lot of housework and blogging done! There’s some nice meals in there and I’m finding that I’m quite liking the meals from the 1 Million Kilo Challenge. The only issue I’m having is that I am (stupidly) used to bigger portion sizes and lots of carbs so I’m finding it hard to feel full. I’m trying hard not to eat badly during the day or eat after dinner but I’m struggling a little. But any little change is a good change I suppose.
