I’m not proud to admit it but the house has been pretty shocking lately. I’ve been sort of on top of tidying and every few days it at least looks nice and tidy but cleaning… forget about it.
To be honest, I’m sick of myself. Yes, I’m tired. Yes, I’m unmotivated. But it’s really not an excuse to be so lazy. So this week is going to be better!.
We’ve had an ant problem in the kitchen the last few days and I know it is because I don’t wash the dishes enough. And you don’t know how bad that makes me feel. So, my plan this week is to ensure we go to bed each night with a clean sink. Rather pathetic really.
I’m going to focus on the dining room this week as it is a fairly easy room to clean. I just need to get rid of all of the things that have accumulated in spots and put them in their correct spots.
I’m also going to attempt to tidy up the bookshelf – we didn’t really unpack it properly and just shoved everything on there. It needs to be reorganised and probably a little decluttering as well.
So, if you see my fluffing about on Twitter or Facebook and not cleaning like I should be then give me kick up the bum!
