Cleaning Zone - Bathroom & Laundry - The Flying Drunken Monkey

The dirty washing has piled up in our laundry and I’d love to work my way through it but the weather is working against us. I currently have a load of nappies and a load of whites hanging on our two drying racks in the laundry but as they won’t be dry for at least a day there is not much use putting on another load to wash.

Thankfully, it was sunny and very, very hot yesterday so I was able to get the sheet and quilt cleaned after Lily vomited on them.

After Lily had swimming yesterday I came home and put the load of nappies on and Mr Monkey brought out all of the dirty washing for me and I sorted it into (huge) piles. I then decided that the washing machine was a mess so grabbed a cloth and started cleaning around the edge and the outside.

I then realised the floor was a mess with dried grass and leaves so grabbed the broom and gave it a quick sweep. I haven’t mopped it but it isn’t really dirty – just messy.

Mr Monkey gave the bath a quick wipe over after Lily had a bath last night but I will probably need to attack it properly with some cleaning solution – the same with the shower.

I gave the vanity a quick wipe over the other day as it was looking horrible – I seem to have gotten out of the habit of wiping it down every morning. Plus, the vanity itself is not in the best condition so it doesn’t take much to make it look bad.

The plan for this week’s cleaning zone;

♥ Check supplies
♥ Clean bath/shower
♥ Clean faucets
♥ Clear HotSpots
♥ Disinfect bin
♥ Mop floor
♥ Scrub sink
♥ Sweep floor
♥ Wash bath toys

♥ Clean outside of washing machine
♥ Look behind washing machine
♥ Do tub clean
♥ Mop floor
♥ Sweep floor
