Cleaning Zone - The Bedrooms - The Flying Drunken Monkey

Guess what? Haven’t even really done anything again this week. I’m finding I’m barely able to stay on top of the basic housework, yet alone doing any proper cleaning. I wish I could say it was because I’m just too busy but really… I’m just lazy.

I could say it’s because I’ve been sick with a cold that progressed into a bad cough. Then we were away for a few days on our trip to the Southern Highlands.

But really I know there were plenty of times I could’ve done things but stayed on the couch instead.

I have managed to get a lot of my course work done – I’ve basically finished the first unit, except for the three assessment tasks. I started them just before we left to go to the Southern Highlands and haven’t done anything since then – I’ve been focusing on getting my blog posts from the trip up (two more to go). I’m worried about getting back into it now as I felt I was only just beginning to understand the information when I stopped.

I have no routine at the moment and even the basic daily and weekly tasks are not getting done. I’m considering starting a little challenge for myself, perhaps 30 days, where I add a new task each day to get back into a routine. Sort of like the Fly Lady’s Baby Steps. If I do, I’ll start it next month. Perhaps even make it something for this here blog.

We’ll be heading down to my parents’ house at the end of this week as it’s my Dad’s birthday early next week. But Tuesday – Thursday we have no plans so I’m hoping to spend them doing housework and doing my assessments.

The plan for this week’s cleaning zone;
