I think I’ve been nesting a little the last few days. Saturday was a productive day – I tidied downstairs and after washing the dishes after dinner I swept and mopped the bathroom and kitchen. It doesn’t sound like much but it’s more than I’ve been doing lately.
Sunday would’ve been the same but I had a really bad sleep Saturday night and I just didn’t have the energy. I kept trying to force myself to do stuff but it felt like I was dragging my body through quicksand. I ended up going back to bed and sleeping for a few hours in the afternoon and felt a bit better after that. I didn’t end up getting much more done after that but we did cook a really lovely dinner together, had a dance while dinner was cooking and then I washed half of the dishes after we had finished. I would’ve liked to finish the dishes but was having trouble standing due to baby deciding to drop down a little while I was standing at the sink.
So, I’ve been trying to keep on top of the dishes at least and keeping the kitchen fairly clean. I’ve also been trying to keep the lounge room and dining room tidy but it’s hard when I have issues bending over. I’d love to say Lily’s been helping me but… yeah, not so much.
